The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

Restlessness can possess you like a vice during the night. Every murmuration becomes amplified, every shadow takes on a threatening form. You toss and turn, your thoughts swirling, desperate for some elusive comfort. Sleep, once a gentle refuge, has become a distant dream. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity of suffering.

We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at website our core.
